A restaurant that feels like someone's dining room, not a dining room built to look like a restaurant.
Full interior design, custom joinery, lighting design
The Weathervane came to us as a stripped-back shell above a Bristol wine merchant — good bones, no personality. The owners wanted somewhere that felt like an extension of their own home, not a themed space chasing a trend. We built around that: reclaimed oak tables, a mix of dining chairs rather than a matched set, low lighting that changes with the time of day. The result seats 40 but rarely feels crowded — every table has its own sense of space, and no two corners of the room look quite the same.
