Thistle & Thorn approached us wanting their store to feel less like retail and more like stepping into someone's beautifully kept home. We leaned into that brief fully — vintage-style fixtures, warm wood shelving, and soft ambient lighting replace the harsh, even lighting typical of retail spaces. Display units double as furniture pieces rather than obvious merchandising tools, and every material was chosen to feel worn-in and genuine rather than showroom-new. The result is a shopping experience that slows customers down, rather than moving them through.
